Sequencing
Thus far in the project nearly 380 million bases have been sequenced with pyrosequencing technology (Roche 454)
at an average read length of 230 bp yielding over 120K contigs, 21K of which are
considered large (>700 bp). Another 10K of cDNA sequences have been completed on a traditional Sanger platform.
